PARATA SHELF

The Parata shelving unit was designed to put Corsica’s wood industry in the spotlight.
Initially thought to be made of chestnut (the most important tree in Corsican history), the lack of a dedicated industry led me to choose local maritime pine, whose industry is much more established.
To ensure complete local production, the hand-sculpted legs were crafted by the talented Ajaccio-based Menuiserie Cristiani.
